WE BEGIN OUR JOURNEY IN BOOTY BAY...
Those Who Wish To See Off Our Dashing Racers Will Be Ported To The Dalaran Crater, After The Race Begins! The route goes down the main road through the treacherous jungles of Strangelthorn, and around the gaping maw of THE SUNDERING...
... Charging past the Whirlpool of Death, our racers will then head north along the road to the Infamous Rebel Camp, where our valiant troops continue to fight against the Crazed Colonel Kurzen! After checking in with our posted Stormwind University correspondent, they'll take off to the Dark Forests of...
... Duskwood! Upon entering the thick forest, our racers will make a right at the turnpike, and travel north towards Darkshire, where they'll check in with our next checkpoint, before taking off!
Rolling Our Way Into The Rustic Redridge Mountains, our racers will take their next stop in Lakeshire, before going north into highly hostile Orcish territory. Onlookers beware, because it only gets more treacherous in...
... THE BURNING STEPPES! From there, we'll go through the cursed earth, and follow the worn down roads all the way up to Blackrock Mountain! After navigating the racers will check in with our qualified correspondents, before exiting the dark mount.
Upon exiting the mountain, the Racers will have to endure the harsh Searing Gorge, home of the Dark Irons and many other horrid things. From there, they will go to Stonewrought Pass, where they'll cross back over into more friendly territory.
Exiting the pass, our racers will barrel through the Valley of Kings, and into Loch Modan itself! After entering our checkpoint at Thelmsamar, they'll head up the northeast road, and take a slight curve back onto the main path, heading towards Algaz Station and the next pass.
Next, they will enter... THE WETLANDS! Clopping down the marshy swamps, they'd continue down the central road, until coming to besieged town of Dun Modr, where our last Southern Checkpoint lies, before crossing the infamous Thandol Span!
Upon crossing the Span into the vast plains of the Arathi Highlands, the racers will keep the main road, until taking the northern fork which heads towards the next pass, which serves as our next checkpoint, as well as the cross into...
The Hinterlands! In the shortest stretch of the race, the Racers will exit the tunnel connecting Arathi and the Hinterlands, and make a mad dash to a small camp in the hills. After checking in with our correspondent, they'll make their way into the dark, twisted lands that once made up beloved Lordaeron.
Beginning with a rather wonky (and wet) turn into the Western Plaguelands, the Racers will pass such iconic sites as the Scholomance and Uther's Tomb, on their way to the second-to-last checkpoint, at Chillwind Camp! Making their way up through the battlegrounds of Andorhal, they'd finally return to the main road, to enter the final stretch of the journey...
...THE EASTERN PLAGUELANDS! Following the main road down, our cunning racers will have to battle it out, in order to make it to the final checkpoint, Light's Shield Tower! With only a small mile or two to go, victory would be almost assured, to the first to enter Light's Hope Chapel!

I spoke with Ellamoons of last night. Initially, she was just expressing personal gratitude for being added to our Events Invitations List, but happened to mention this event specifically!
Ellamoons was curious as to whether or not we might want some members of the Guard to assist in keeping watch over the race paths, specifically Redridge and the surrounding territories (if memory serves). I'd informed her that we were staffing the race with our own members, but that I'd ask on her behalf and let her know Mac's/our answer either way.
Additionally, Ellamoons offered to spread the word of this event for us among both her own guild and others that she knows and/or is friends with, in both spectator and participant capacities. I made sure to emphasize to her that we'd especially appreciate more riders/participants, and reminded her of the 100g entry fee. (Along with an explanation that the fee goes toward to the prizes and NOT in our pockets! :D )
Just wanted to pass this information along!
