"Stormwind University vs. The Legion of Darkness"
Summoned to the edge of Raven's Hill cemetary by the infamous Gregor Fremen, the people of the University must brave the harsh trials of the damned in order to seal the undead back into their graves! But something else is aput in the darkness. Beware all who enter the dark woods of Duskwood... You may never come out the same.
((Howdy folks! Same rules as usual, but I will post my typical /20 rolling system to all who wish to come prepared. The date has been reserved for Monday, April 17th. See you there!))
Future Shock: The Broken Shore
After the secret reveal of the True Identity of the Man posing as Marrion MacHarren was revealed, the University has began to concoct a plan to return the Engineer to this world. Zack Highwind has revealed a remote location on the Broken Shore, which would serve as a perfect area to summon Marrion from the Great Dark Beyond. But great danger comes from the continent proper, as the scattered Legion Forces hear word of Alliance and Horde activities within the Shore. Other threats arise too from other third-party entities, who seek to finish off Marrion and his allies once and for all...
((Howdy folks! Yeah, I know these are pretty short, but I hope that the events make up for that. In this one, there might be a bit more RP fights, so, the standard /roll 20 battle system will most likely be in effect. Meet on the Broken Shore (If a Port is needed, one will be provided.) Be sure to be there Friday!))
Future Shock Part Three: The Modicum of Dis
For what seems like ages, the Library of Stormwind University has remained quiet and silent. It's renowned basement stirs with artifacts of a time few remember. Old things from days long past sit in solemn silence, waiting to be uncovered. Until now. With the recent loss of Aurelinna and Declain Steele, the infamous warlock, Gregor Fremen, has began research into ancient relics of demonic origin, and has uncovered the location of something that could help. The Modicum of Dis, forged in the darkest depths of Argus to serve as a seeing stone across all of space and time for the Duumvirate of Archimonde and Kil'jaeden, and was lost to history for many years. According to legend, it was found years later by a rogue magus, who sought to keep its power secret from the Kirin Tor and other authorities, who might wish to use it or perhaps, destroy it outright. Some state, that it lies buried beneath the Library itself. Others argue that it was discovered and destroyed during the reclamation of Stormwind during the Second War. Regardless, Gregor Fremen has ventured forth into the Basement of the Stormwind University Public Library. For these past few days, none has heard from him since. What horror lie below in that dark place? Does the Modicum of Dis still pollute this reality with its cancerous taint? What has become of the warlock, Gregor Fremen? Will anything be found to help the University in their plight to save the Steeles? All these questions and more, will be answered...
((Before you guys ask, YES, I scrapped my original idea for this one. There's gonna be some more interesting story prospects with this idea... And -yes- I do realize that we established that the Abby in the Elwynn Starter Zone was the official IC area for the basement. HOWEVER... That will be explained later, and I think you'll enjoy it regardless. So, I would like some folks to volunteer for some rolls in here (nothing like the bosses of old, but I can't say what for sake of spoilers). If I don't get anyone, no biggie. Also, Amara, I hope you don't mind the tie-in. Thought it might be more appropriate given everything that's happened ICly lately. Lastly, there will be some bosses in here, and I am debating using Amara's Roll system, but don't quote me on that. Hopefully, I'll see you all on MONDAY THE 22nd!))
Oooh~ Looks interesting! Seems like last night's RP at the Library must've been more inspirational than I'd realized! xD It is often this way; Even the most seemingly innocuous elements of an RP session can set the stage for future events and related plans.
I don't mind the tie-in at all, actually! (But let's also make sure Linn's OK with it!) In fact, I'm glad that we're able to somewhat dovetail interests as far as keeping the overall flow of this event series and the guild main storyline running in simultaneous harmony. It keeps things continuous and on-track, and that's great by me! In this case, I feel it's highly appropriate.
However, with regard to Dex and Linn specifically, I will need to confer with her and we'll see what we can and can't "allow" in regard to the possible course of your event on Monday. :) Obviously, we have our own plans for that particular arc of the guild main storyline, so we'll have to somehow ensure that your ideas/plans and ours remain intact while not disrupting anything too much. (If at all!)
Also, I'm glad you seem to like my roll system. It takes some getting used to, but once we all do, I think it'll make combat much quicker and more seamless and efficient. Of course, that's if you do decide to use it!
Hi hi! So, in a lot of ways I have no idea how these things work so I'm just tossing out thoughts - I'm hoping folks will be able to get together and Odine have officially joined the University by Monday's event. But if not, or regardless - I do have a couple of alts that sit around looking cute on my character selection screen if you need them. Most are loooooow level, but three are 100+. ^^
