Dioniss Aca
The box, when opened, would reveal five purple and pink crystals. As soon as the box had fully opened, the crystals levitated into the air and spread into the air, forming an arch. From them, a hazy blank palate came to life, almost as if someone were scrying. Then, a figure finally came into view.
Elvae looked gruff, he hadn't shaven in months it seemed, though he stood as straight and tall as ever. He seemed to be holding a camera, recording this message, his arm was stretched out under the frame.
"Hello, my friends," he says, smiling cheerfully. "I hope this message finds you well. I'm. . . not sure when this message will find you, but the Forge Masters here told me the day I'm recording this, is about halfway through October, on Azeroth."
Elvae paused, tilting his head. "Oh, right. Where I am, heh." He turned the camera to show the green and grey sky of Maldraxxus. Twenty or thirty meters to his right, was a smith, working on putting together a corpse. She seemed familiar, to most.
"I'm in Maldraxxus. I've been here with Ceyel, since my wounds healed." He then turned the camera back to him, before looking out of frame. "Ceyel! Come say hello to your aunts and uncles!" he says, before turning to look at the camera, smiling. "She's been wanting to say 'sorry'," he says, before Ceyel came into view. She wore green and bone-white robes, and carried a massive, two handed sledgehammer slung over her back. Her hair was shaved on the sides, and the top and back were pulled back into a single ponytail. Her eyes shimmered as she smiled into the camera, and waved.
"Hey everyone! It's gonna be really good to see you guys again, eventually. But for now, I just. . . wanted to say that I'm sorry for uh. . . trying to. . . y'know. . . kill you, that one time." She stopped then, reaching up to rub the back of her neck. "Yeah. . . I'm really, super sorry about that. It was real fucked up of me. But Dad cares about you, and I know y'all really helped him get me back to myself. So I love y'all, for that." She smiles at the camera, before leaning down and rubbing Elvae's shoulder. "Dad never shuts up about y'all, I swear," she says, wrinkling her nose and snickering.
Elvae rolled his eyes, patting her hand roughly, shaking his head. "They are the only family I have, besides you, Ceyel. I want you to know them, and since you can't meet them now, I figured I'd tell you all about them," he says, smiling at the camera. "Go back to smithing, daughter. I'll be there once I'm done recording this," he says. Ceyel snorts, ruffling Elvae's hair and waving at the camera. "I'll see y'all around! Sorry, again," she says, sheepishly, before scampering off, out of frame.
Elvae's shoulders immediately slumped, and he sighs, looking out of frame. "Being here. . . seeing. . . so many, old faces. . ." he says, his voice rasping gently. "Most remember me. My face." He smirks sullenly. "Others only remember the pain I gave them."
He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't know when. But I will be back. I hope there's not too many new professors to meet. I'll have to get them all together to tell them my big secret," he says, chortling, shaking his head. "I don't want to say that I'll see you soon. But I will see you, my friends. I'm just loathe to leave Ceyel for long." He shakes his head, closing his eyes. "I haven't had her for so long. So having her, has been. . . amazing. We've spoken so much about what she was told about me. About how she used to think of me. About. . ." he pauses, cracking a smile. "About how I think of myself."
"She makes me say something nice about myself, every morning," he says, wrinkling his nose. "You would think myself the child, and her the parent," he says, rolling his eyes, chuckling. "It's working, I think. Maybe. Thinking positively is hard, as I'm sure most of you are aware." He smiles, looking into the camera.
"I miss you all. And I will see you all soon. There, I said it. Don't hold me to it," he says, smirking. "I hope this message finds you well. And soon. When next you see my face, it will be in the flesh."
He looks back out of frame, seemingly at Ceyel, before looking back the camera.
"Dioniss aca."
The transmission seemingly then ends, the crystals slowly, feather fall their way back to the box, fitting in their spaces once more.
