Maureen Goodwin - Department Head of Humanoid Resources

Maureen Goodwin handed Caniell Lyca a thin folder and a small box shortly before departing from Steelhaven earlier today. Inside the box, there was a small recording crystal, and inside the folder, four sheets of music. Two of the sheets appear to be a cleaned up copy of the other two. Across the top, a title israwled in large print: "Longing". And underneath that, a subtitle is written in harder to read, tiny print: "What words can't say". The piece appears to be a duet of some sort, though not a particularly long one. There's a simple, short note written on the cover of the folder like a heathen, and all it says is: "For work- Maureen Goodwin."

A short duet for Violin and Viola, though other instruments could be easily substituted in. Please bear in mind that, while you can adjust for other instruments, it will sound the best with Violin and Viola as intended. This piece has a lot of significance to both Maureen and I, so I hope you all enjoy it. It's ended up being the second original thing I've been comfortable enough to call "finished", though there may be an extended version or something along those lines down the road. As for what the first was... that's just going to have to wait a while.
