I like that idea, actually! I'm thinking it would likely be most appropriate for the ARMT - Alliance Reserve Military Training curriculum. It's definitely something I could see being offered for those on the military service track!
(These contributions are great and welcomed, considering I'd originally meant to compile a short list for Angrin's Spellbreaking class purposes before it turned into this beast of a course listing! lol :P )
In addition to bumping this particular thread as an example of what we like to see (though not necessarily expect) in terms of Faculty Portfolios, there are some canonical updates which desperately needed to be made! These updates and changes are not new to the University ICly, despite being very recently updated OOCly on the listing here.
First and foremost, the entire Alliance Reserve Military Training (ARMT) curriculum has since been renamed Nonpartisan Reserve Military Training (NRMT). This is not only intended to reflect the progressive change in Stormwind University's views of peaceful co-existence and universal acceptance which have stood for years, but more so, the shift in global policy and views all throughout Azeroth to this end in most recent times. Also, from a global support & unity standpoint, this change also further reflects the University's ongoing cooperation and partnership with other neutral-minded factions and organizations who do not discriminate and are in need of military might and presence! (Such as the settlement of Hearthglen or the Independent Nation of Steelhaven!)
To further reflect the abovementioned changes, courses NRMT 100 & 101 have since been renamed in all updated campus coursebooks as "Intro to Nonpartisan Reservist Duties & Expectations" and "Codes & Conduct of the Nonpartisan Reservist", respectively.
SUOP 331 "Observing Stormwindian Law & University Policy" has since had a name and content change to reflect the University's move outside of the Kingdom of Stormwind's jurisdiction and oversight. Stormwind University, having since become an independent entity and institution all on its own, now governs itself entirely in all legal and operational matters. SUOP 331 had thereby been renamed "Observing and Upholding University Law & Policy" with the course number staying the same.
ARMT 400 "Managing Potential Threats I: The Horde" has since been stricken from the (now NRMT, as stated above) curriculum due to the University's pioneering in changing ahead of the times! Any relevant material from this dissolved course has since been disseminated into the curriculum of existing courses NRMT 301 & 302. After the return of the Scourge and it's subsequent assault on the University campus grounds, the curriculum has seen the addition of course NRMT 403 "Managing Potential Threats III: Undead and The Scourge" in an effort to better prepare our student cadets for the possibility of such threats ever rising again.
