Description: Zack has the looks of an average guy in his twenties. He was well-built but not overly muscular. He does have a slight tan from his journeys that he has taken in trying to help others.
When not in his armor, and in more casual clothing, he has a few minor scars that can be seen, most from training and others from actual combat.
One major scar is on his chest. It looks almost like a sunburst in shape. Though around the scar are the tell-tale signs that he had once been Sha-possessed.
Some of the side-effects from this was that his once auburn brown hair is now an off-white coloration, his own Mana and Chi production has become sporadic, making too much that can cause a hazy affect on some people. This is controlled by Absorption Armor which he learned to make for himself after his master showed him how.
Also, while he appears normal, there are times where he will go into what is known as the Hyper Chi or Mana states, meaning that there is too much build up of either Mana or Chi or even both which can mix within him, building up to the point of him becoming an Energy Bomb. HOWEVER....he can control it enough that it will barely scratch allies or at best, completely heal his allies.
History: Zack Highwind is the son of Jecht and Anglian Highwind.
From a very young age, Zack possessed Chi energy, which at the time, was unheard of by almost all of Azeroth. He seemed to have the ability to influence and increase a person's healing abilities, it seemed, without even casting a spell.
It was not until Chen Stormstout had actually decided to pay a visit to the Stormwind area during Brewfest. He had seen little Zack off by himself, playing with a ball of energy that Chen recognized. As Chen observed him, he also saw the other children staying away.
So it was that when Zack was about to leave with his parents, Chen approached them. He gave a formal greeting and told Jecht and Anglian about his curiousity for Zack's abilities. He explained that Zack had control of a natural form of energy known as Chi and that everyone has this energy, but only certain trained people could control it.
This caught his parents by surprise. They asked him who it was that could control it. The answer....was Monks. He told Zack to make sure not to stop using his abilities, that he had feeling that the course of things to come would aid him like no other.
Zack held on to Chen's words, training himself for a long time until he has reached 21 years of age. It was then that the race of Pandarens began to become known. It was an older Pandaren that traveled to where most classes began their training. It was there that Zack met his master.
It took many years of training, but eventually Zack had gone from a rather reckless Windwalker that had some more personal issues to a more calm and collected Mistweaver that had found that healing and aiding others seemed to be his calling.
During one of Zack's deployments out to Pandaria during the initial sieges upon the Mogu and Garrosh Hellscream, he had come into contact with a Sha unlike the others that had been noted in the annuls of Pandaria history. This particular Sha held within it the abilities of the others to affect things like anger, despair, doubt, fear, hatred, pride, and violence. However, this Sha contained the ability to affect even the positive emotions even more.
Eventually, his father, Jecht, and a few Master Mistweavers created something similar to a Soul Shard that the warlocks used to contain this Sha as it had a sever grip upon Zack. Because of this event, there are now tell-tale signs that he has had a serious run in with a Sha as his hair became an off-white/brown coloration, and a large scar that is usually hidden under his armor or clothes that shows a sunburst-like scar with the white and black corruption markings around it.
Also do to the Sha encounter, his Mana, Chi, and Mist would be in a constant flux if not for him imbuing his armor with Absorption capabilities that collect the excess that is produced. However there have been times where it would even become too much for his armor, causing Hyper Chi/Mana/Mist states.
Only twice in Zack's life had he ended in the Hyper Chi/Mana/Mist states, causing his body to become an Energy Bomb. When the energy is released, depending on which of the energies were stronger, it could either injury people or completely heal them. Both times was fortunate that his Mist was the stronger of the two, restoring an area back to life.
Nowadays, Zack has been spending his time working on bettering himself and his abilities, staying cautious about what could happen. He has currently found employment with the Stormwind University to pass along what he has experienced and learned through his travels.
