Bring Back the SWU Writing Contests, 2k18?

Hello everyone! This is just a small poll I wanted to put together to see everyone's stance on the Monthly Writing Prompt Contest. I've wanted to get this up and running for a while again, due to some new influx of members, and inspiration for the guild... But I want to know of people are actually interested in writing for a prompt contest again!

Do let me know what you guys think. Be honest, please!

I must admit that I don't know when I'd have time to do them versus when I won't, but I liked the little bit of the contests I did see when I first joined and I would want to participate if time allowed.

((I utterly suck at writing or being creative, but I like reading the stories people submit.)) Oh oops! Nevermind. I forgot to look at the guild front page. My opinion doesn't matter. Plz ignore.

I think it'd be a great idea to revive the Monthly Writing Contest!  (We'd discussed this recently via PMs, so you know my vote already!)  Granted, I've been suffering a terrible bout of writer's block these days for a variety of personal and creative reasons, but that should neither stop anybody else from contributing nor preclude me from doing so myself, dependent upon the prompt!  (Especially if I could restrain myself from writing a damn novella, of course... :P )

These writing prompts have always been good for making me (and others, I'm sure!) think about my character(s) in question, in some cases being able to even draw from a relevant event that has occurred in their IC past! (For the characters who have existed longer, at least!)

I'm all for them, personally.  Thank you for giving this idea consideration once again, Garry!

Apologies for the thread necro. As a new member I'm looking at a lot of the previous discussion threads. I'm all for writing prompts, whether they're called contests or something else.
