This event was a fairly good time and decently organized from what I saw in the time that I'd spent there.
If nothing else, all of their events/activities were run by their own guild members (much like ours are!) which is a welcome, far cry from the Server Queen bs we used to experience in the past from certain folks and guilds who shall remain nameless. The attractions were varied too, if not entirely original. At one point, they had a hot dog eating contest and a kissing booth, for example. (The jokes write themselves here, so I'll refrain personally. :P LOL) At the end, they did a Haunted Forest type of mini-event leading into a brief play comprised of volunteer attendees, so I do give some points there for that imaginative display.
But I remain befuddled as to the "main theme" of House Reinhardt, however; they tout themselves as a medical/clinic sort of RP deal (at least, they do so at the offices) but yet their GM acts ICly like your typical, run-of-the-mill House guild noble type. Yeah, I dunno either. *shrug* But for the whole "House/Nobility" theme and, more so, the fact that they've never bothered to even introduce themselves or approach us after practically invading our office, it gives me some pause for any potential collaborations we could share in the future.
BUT...
The main attraction (for me, anyway) and THE reason I attended this event was to see Cani joust in their tournament. AND SHE KICKED ALL THEIR ASSES! Go Gryphons!!!
Maybe now they'll actually deign to come say hello sometime and introduce themselves. Probably not. But hey, we entered their yard and once again put our names out there for ALL to see! Those who didn't already know us there, they sure do know us now! And that's more than good enough for me. ^_~
